The tech blogs are going crazypants about the upcoming Apple event coming on Wednesday. The unanimous consensus is that the iPad 3 will be announced. Of course, before that event occurs the tech mavens have already talked ad infinitum about the new specifications (making the offical announcement moot but for the fact that most rumors overshoot the actual specs).

Call me crazypants for spitting out the kool-aid, but at this point can we really expect anything revolutionary from changes being made to the iPad? Haven't we already experienced the revolution by the very fact that it exists? Seriously, folks... unless the iPad cures cancer or becomes self-aware do we really have to go apecrap about it?

I have to admit, if iPad 7 is a self-aware device I would go bonkers for it. That would be totally cool to the max.
